Often Overlooked

Often overlooked for portraits and family photos is the Rose Garden. Here you will usually find that taking someone’s photo is convenient and easy. Typically people will be polite and stay out of your shot. Also there are not a lot of people visiting the Rose Garden that will get in the background of your picture. Just remember to be creative with the framing of your shot and the positioning of your subject. One of my favorite things about taking pictures here is that there is plenty of greenery  to complement flesh tones.

This time of year is a great time to swing by Blizzard Beach to take a nice swim, but don’t forget the camera. You just might miss out on some great pictures.

At this year’s Star Wars Weekends located at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you could find some of your favorite characters from Star Wars. Even if you are not a big Star Wars fan, it is still worth attending. Here are some of my favorite characters from one of the best special event parades that Disney creates. Not only were there meet and greets with some of these characters, but you could get to meet some of the actors behind some of these famous characters. Though it is over for the year, it is definitely worth catching next year.

A Don’t Miss

There is a don’t miss for any photographer that goes to the Magic Kingdom and that is the Rose Garden. Located between the walkway that heads to the Mad Tea Party and Tomorrow Land, you will find this really great place to take pictures. With some of the best landscaping on the WDW property, it is a don’t miss.
